Hillary's Macaca Moment?

What exactly is Hillary trying to say? Is she talking about 1963 civil rights act? That King's dream required LBJ to complete? or That all that was accomplished before that was not enough?

I'm not really sure what she was going for. It's a bit wierd.

Of course this quote assumes that King's dream was completely accomplished...was it? - I doubt it...remember the day before King died he said, "..I have seen the promise land, but I might not get there with you..."

She'll have to back-pedal again. I hope all the Hillary supporters heard her say it and realize they shouldn't vote for her!

Actually I thought she did a really good job at the debates last night. I think she could be a good president, I just think Obama has a better chance of uniting and getting things done. Why exactly do people hate her so much? It has to be difficult being a woman in politics, if she is too tough she is a B.... and if she is too soft, no one takes her seriously.

Okay, Julio, from you - why do you dislike Hillary? I really want to know - facts. No one will tell me why. If she gets the nomination will you vote for her?

If you read a my post its there.

I don't disliker her. I think she is too devisive to be effective. If a leader, in any forum, is too divisive, that leader is not effective.

My other concern is this: do you think it will good for the country if the same 2 families ran it for over 20 years? I'm not sure that good in the long run, what next, Bush's younger brother (former gov. of Florida) for president?

Finally, i'm not sure that her "experience" is the enough. Bush's cabinet was experience, and looker where that end up.

Will i vote for Hillary if she is the nominee? i'm not sure. I will have to look at all the candidates before I vote. I would have voted for McCain in 2000, im not sure now? I may end up voting Green.

Okay, I follow you on all of that. We went to an Obama house party in Running Springs tonight. I guess it is the first house party on the mountain in like 25 years. People are coming out for him that have not been interested in Politics for a very long time. There were some undecideds and one Republican turned Obama, but most felt like we do, that Hillary, though a strong and experienced woman, would not have the charisma to bring people together, that if she were elected we would just end up in gridlock. There is something to be said for Charisma and Obama has it. I really think he could make things happen. It is always fun to meet with concerned people, hear their views. I also love taking my kids and letting them see politics in action.
